What's in This Summer?

Dear Members,

As summer unfolds, we are delighted to show you a glimpse of what is going on here at SFFCU! This month, we highlight community service events, ongoing promotions, employee bonding, and more. 

We contributed to WeHero's Packs of Love initiative, where we assembled care packages for premature babies and their mothers. With your support, we prepared over thirty packages, and gearing up for another event in the coming weeks with WeHero.

At SFFCU, giving back is a core value that we uphold through both organized volunteer efforts and personal contributions. Each year, we award $2,500 scholarships to deserving young adults for college. Currently, we are in the process of selecting this year's scholarship recipients, and we can't wait to celebrate their achievements. 

As always, we thank you for being an integral part of our SFFCU community.

Promotions & Events at SFFCU!

As a community-based organization, we're always looking for ways to impact those around us. We had so much fun at our Packs of Love community service event with WeHero. 

These care packages, prepared for mothers and their babies born prematurely, contain some baby essentials and a handwritten note from SFFCU employees. The contents include a canvas tote and zipper bag, baby wipes, diaper rash cream, body lotion, J&J baby shampoo and body wash, as well as a onesie and burp rag.

Packs of Love is designed to support both mother and baby with essential supplies.

Pride Parade!

This past Pride Weekend, we partnered with San Francisco Bay Times on a float to support our LGBTQIA+ community. With over fifty-thousand participants, the annual San Francisco Pride Parade celebrated its 54th year of advocacy and activism. 

Youth Scholarship Award!

We are actively reviewing our many applications for our annual scholarship awards. We seek stellar students who have not only shown high performance in their academics, but extreme dedication to achieve their goals.

We are offering a $2,500 scholarship to college students who embody academic excellence, leadership, and a passion for their field of study. We seek candidates who are not only dedicated to their education but also radiate kindness, resilience, and creativity in all they do. Our recipients will inspire others through their actions, embrace challenges with a positive spirit, and be dedicated to making a meaningful impact in their chosen field and beyond. 

We are eager to congratulate these students on this well-deserved recognition.
